I’m Jen—founder of Caravan, our downtown Amesbury boutique built around color, creativity, connection, and the belief that getting dressed should make you feel good in the body you have today. I’m also the creative director of HUM+BEE, my in-house studio where I create hand-dyed clothing, jewelry, fragrance, and small-batch pieces with soul.

I’ve always believed personal style is about so much more than clothes. It’s memory, self-expression, play, and sometimes even a little bit of courage. Everything I make and bring into Caravan is chosen with that in mind—from flowing silhouettes and incredible denim to jewelry with presence, hand-dyed color, and scents that transport you somewhere.

I created The Styling Room to make getting dressed feel personal again—a private, by-appointment experience where women can play, experiment, and discover what makes them feel most like themselves.

Caravan is also deeply rooted in community. Amesbury is my heart, and I love finding ways to bring people together—whether through downtown events like ROMP, sharing my favorite places through our Local’s Guide to Amesbury, or serving on the board of The Center: Art + Community, an organization dedicated to creativity, connection, and access to the arts.

HUM+BEE is where I get to make, experiment, and collaborate. It’s small batches, hand-dyed color stories, sculptural jewelry, and creative partnerships with makers I love—including quilted jackets with Old Friend Goods and signature fragrances with Native Candle, like Smoke Show, Sacred Ritual, Earth + Ember, and Big Love.

More than anything, I want Caravan to feel welcoming, joyful, and a little unexpected. Come wander. Try something you never thought you’d wear. Play with color. Ask us for help—or don’t. There are no rules here.

Maria is one of the steady hearts behind Caravan — bringing humor, warmth, creativity, and a calm focus to even the busiest days in the shop. Whether she’s helping customers feel at home, refreshing the floor, packing orders, styling looks, or jumping into the beautiful chaos of an event day, she somehow makes everything feel effortless.

Sweet, hilarious, grounded, and endlessly dependable, Maria has a way of making both the team and our customers feel comfortable the moment they walk through the door. Caravan truly wouldn’t be the same without her.

Murphy is the fluffy wagging heartbeat of Caravan—first at the door, last to clock out, and always on vibe control. You’ll catch her welcoming guests like old friends, doing sunshine naps between racks, and offering unsolicited but highly effective morale boosts. Her specialties include tail-wag hellos, soulful head tilts, and posing for impromptu photos like a seasoned pro.

Murphy's also our unofficial Style Party hype squad and Keeper of Good Energy—spreading Big Love one wag at a time. Compensation is simple and non-negotiable: belly rubs, ear scritches, and the occasional treat.
