ROMP is a curated, one-day shopping experience designed to bring people into our downtown and celebrate the incredible businesses that make Amesbury what it is.
Here’s how it works:
- Participating businesses receive custom ROMP canvas tote bags
- Each location fills their bags with at least $25 worth of curated items
- The first 10 customers to make a purchase at each location receive a tote
- Throughout the day, tote holders unlock exclusive discounts and perks across participating shops, cafés, and restaurants
It’s part treasure hunt, part shopping event—and fully a celebration of this community.

What’s Included
- 10 custom ROMP canvas tote bags for your location

- Participation in a highly anticipated, town-wide shopping event
How It Works
- You’ll receive 10 ROMP totes
- Each tote must include a minimum of $25 value (product, gift card, samples, or curated items)
- The first 10 customers who make a purchase at your location on May 30th will receive a tote
- Customers will use their totes to unlock exclusive perks and discounts across participating businesses throughout the day
What’s New This Year
We’re expanding ROMP to include cafés and eateries in the bag distribution, creating more movement, energy, and connection throughout downtown.

- Participation is $50 per location
- Limited spots available
- This fee secures your inclusion in all marketing and event materials
- Tote pickup and marketing assets will be distributed ahead of the event
